Grandma's Gourmets - Fresh and Homemade


Grandma's Bloody Good Dip

1/3 Cup of Grandma's Bloody Pickle Brine (shaken up don't strain)
1/3 Cup Sour Cream
1/3 Cup Mayo
1 Finely Diced Grandma's Bloody Pickle
Finely Diced Pickled Celery from Bloody Pickle jar if desired
Mix ingredients well, refrigerate for an hour or so, enjoy with chips, veggies or whatever you would like.  YUM

Bloody Mary Mix
Shake up your jar really good, add 2-3 Tablespoons of Bloody Pickle Brine added to 4 oz of your favorite tomato based juice, add Worcestershire and Tabasco to taste. Add to your Bloody and garnish with Bloody Pickles.  

Bloody Pickled Eggs

When your are done with your pickles add hard boiled eggs to the Bloody Pickle brine-wait 3-8 days-yes I know it's hard, yummy pickled eggs!!




Jam Cheesecake Dip

1/4 Cup of your favorite Grandma's Gourmets Jam
1-8 oz container of whipped or softened cream cheese
2 TBSP powdered sugar if desired
Mix together and refrigerate to let flavors meld.  Enjoy with cookies, fruit and crackers







Grandma's Dill Pickle Dip

1-8 oz softened cream cheese
1/3 cup diced onion
1/4 cup Grandma's Gourmets Dill Pickle juice
2 Tsp chopped garlic
1 tsp seasoning salt of your choice
1 tsp of ground pepper
2 cups diced Grandma's Gourmets Dill Pickles

Using a mixer whip together all ingredients but diced pickles until fluffy.  Fold in diced pickles. Refrigerate for a few hours to let flavors meld.  Enjoy. 



Beet Pickle Brine Cocktail
Don't throw it away use everything.  Here's an easy cocktail for the Beet Pickle Brine.
In a tall glass add ice then add the following:
1 1/2 ounce gin or vodka of your choice
1-2 ounce of Grandma's Gourmets Beet Pickle Brine
Club Soda to fill
Garnish with a sprig of rosemary
Enjoy!!
N/A Beet Soda
Want it N/A just leave out the alcohol and use club soda,
5 parts club soda with 1-2 parts beet brine serve on ice with a lime.

Beet Pickled Eggs
When you are done with your beet pickles add hard boiled eggs to the jar.  Make sure that the eggs are covered with the brine, put on the lid and  let sit in the refrigerator at least 24 hours can also make those beet brined eggs into deviled eggs.
Beet Brine Salad Dressing

Add equal parts of strained beet brine and light oil, can use the jar so you don't throw it away-shake and use as a quick and easy salad dressing.  Store any leftovers in refrigerator, shake before each use.
